Phase I: Gap analysis and visibility study | | The technical consultancy by ALAswar will conduct gap analysis and visibility study for the current status of Organization. | Phase II: Defined needs and purchasing equipment | | The optimum requirements to establish working standard calibration laboratories for the required ranges is one of the main taskes for technical consultancy by ALAswar . Also be ready to go into detailed technical specification process of purchasing equipment when time is due and budget is available. | Phase III: Installation and start-up | | Inspection with reference to the required specification, Installation, evaluation, commissioning and start-up, are activities to be carried out by the technical consultancy by ALAswar. | Phase IV: Training on the purchased equipment | | Training on the purchased equipment does not only mean how to operate the equipment to get a result but will go beyond this limit to qualify Organization staff to calibrate with the least possible uncertainty of measurement. | Phase V: Technical Laboratory preparation for Accreditation | | Write down technical procedures for the required fields calibration. Estimations of UNCERTAINTY BUDGET of the required calibration ranges. | Phase VI: Administration preparation for Accreditation | Assistance of Quality manual and quality system documentations preparation according to ISO/IEC 17025.
The technical assistance consultancy by ALAswar required for (to be ready for Accreditation) could be includes:
1. Assess the laboratory practice against ISO/IEC 17025. Assessment shall include existing document system elements (manuals, procedures, instructions, forms, codes, ect..)
2. Present the results of assessment to Organization, together with the proposed structure for the quality system.
3. Assist Organization Laboratories in establishing the Quality System (documentation and implementation), in line with ISO/IEC 17025.
4. Organize, conduct, and evaluate training on related issues, including:
- Requirements of ISO/IEC 17025, and applicable international practices.
- Internal audits as per ISO/IEC 17025.
- Accreditation process, and its requirements.
- Uncertainty estimation and budgets.
- Proficiency testing/inter laboratory comparison.
- Personnel competence.
- On-job-training.
- Method validation.
- Method upgrading.
5. Assist Organization laboratories in conducting internal audits of the established system, as a part of verifying the compliance of the established system, and the status of implementation, as well as on-job-training for the Organization personnel on internal auditing, and present the results to the beneficiary's management.
6. Assist Organization in correcting the results of the internal audit, both concerning documentation, and implementation.
7. Conduct at least one Accreditation-simulation assessment, and present the results to the beneficiary's management.
8. Assist Organization laboratories in correcting the results of the simulation assessment, both concerning documentation, and implementation.
